AMP Holding Inc. says its AMP Trucks subsidiary has received a purchase order for Workhorse E-100 walk-in vans. The fleet of a national bakery company will use the vehicles on delivery routes in New York.
‘Our customer has one of the largest private fleets in the country, and we appreciate the confidence they have shown in working with us,’ says Marty Rucidlo, president of AMP/Workhorse.
The Workhorse E-100s, which will be built on the Workhorse W62 chassis in AMP's assembly plant in Union City, Ind., have an all-electric driving range of up to 100 miles.
‘These vehicles are particularly well-suited for the stop-and-go nature of route delivery,’ adds Steve Burns, CEO of AMP/Workhorse.
