Worldwide Alternative Fuel says it is now serving as a distributor of Fuel Saver Plus, a propane autogas system that enhances the performance of gasoline engines.
The company says the patented design incorporates new technologies and safety features that deliver fuel-economy improvements without disturbing a vehicle's on-board diagnostics system. The platform uses engine vacuum to control the flow of propane to increase mileage and reduce emissions. On truck applications, the system uses 1 gal. of liquid propane gas (LPG) per 100 miles, and 1 gal. per 130 miles on passenger cars.
