Winnebago Industries Inc. has debuted the medium-duty compressed natural gas (CNG) Metro Link public transportation vehicle, which can be used in airport shuttle, public transit and similar applications.
The company says the vehicle features a one-piece fiberglass roof, fully welded, tubular steel framework, high-gloss fiberglass sidewalls and frameless windows. The Metro Link, which also offers a 78-inch center aisle height and various passenger configurations, carries a seven-year/150,000-mile structural warranty.
The new Metro Link will be distributed by Metro Worldwide, a division of the Pritchard Family Companies.
