Universal Lubricants says it has developed an engine oil line designed specifically for compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles.
Among the products are Orion, a traditional lubricant produced from a virgin base oil, and ECO ULTRA CNG, an alternative lubricant consisting of up to 83% re-refined material, the company says. The products have been formulated to provide strong deposit, wear, oil oxidation and oil nitration control in turbocharged natural gas engines.
Universal Lubricants adds that ECO ULTRA is available in SAE 30, 40 and 15W40.
