Murphy-Hoffman Co. (MHC), a multi-state truck dealership network and provider of various trucking-related services, says it is showcasing a 2013 Kenworth T660 long-haul truck powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) among eight of its locations in the coming weeks.

MHC Kenworth – Kansas City first hosted the truck, and the natural gas vehicle (NGV) is scheduled to make stops in Tulsa and Oklahoma City this week. Next will be a stint at MHC Kenworth – Denver, followed by trips to Atlanta and Nashville in October. The CNG-powered T660 will then be in Dallas Nov. 1-14.

‘CNG is a new product that is starting to expand to the Midwest, and MHC wants to be on the frontline,’ says Jeff Blake, new truck sales manager at MHC Kenworth – Kansas City. ‘A lot of our customers want to know more about natural gas right now. They are ready to get involved and this tour provides that opportunity.’

‘MHC created this tour because we want to familiarize our customers with the latest technology,’ adds Jared White, MHC's vice president/new truck sales manager. ‘Our goal is to provide the most state-of-the-art options when helping customers find the right trucking solutions for their needs.’
