Mitsubishi Motors North America Inc. (MMNA) has announced specifications and pricing for its 2016 i-MiEV, which will arrive at Mitsubishi dealers across the U.S. in late March.
The company says the all-electric vehicle has a starting MSRP of $22,995, but after factoring in an available federal tax credit of $7,500, the net starting MSRP could be reduced to $15,495.
The company adds that the i-MiEV also features a comprehensive vehicle warranty that includes a fully transferable eight-year/100,000-mile limited warranty for the lithium-ion main drive battery pack and a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain limited warranty.
“Mitsubishi Motors is committed to developing EV and PHEV technologies,” says Don Swearingen, MMNA's executive vice president. “The Mitsubishi i-MiEV is a safe and reliable form of environmentally sustainable transportation and is a great option for those looking for a 100-percent electric vehicle.”
