Mission NewEnergy Ltd. says it has developed an improved palm oil supply-chain process called Mission g-Palm and petitioned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for approval to sell the enhanced g-Palm biodiesel in the U.S.
Mission notes that it is also developing Jatropha, an inedible biofuel feedstock that is being cultivated by the company's contract farmers on arid, marginal lands in India.
