Textile services company Mission Linen has added a number of alternative fuel vehicles to its fleet as a part of its corporate sustainability efforts.
‘We are excited to expand our alternative fuel vehicles within our fleet,’ says John Ross, president and CEO. ‘In just a short period of time, we have seen positive effects on the environment, natural resources and on route optimization.’
Mission Linen now has 32 compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles in operation, as well as six new propane-powered Ford E-450 step vans featuring autogas systems from ROUSH CleanTech. All of the vehicles meet U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board certification requirements.
The company notes that its fleet of alt-fuel vehicles will be in operation in California, Arizona and Texas.
