Love’s Travel Stops has opened a new store in Albuquerque, N.M., and the facility offers fast-fill compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling for heavy-duty trucks. The company says this represents its sixth CNG location along the 1,000-mile stretch of Interstate 40 between Albuquerque and West Memphis, Ark.
“Love’s now has a total of 16 locations offering Love’s fast-fill CNG, and this is our first location with the alternative fuel offering in New Mexico,” says Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s. “Love’s has operated in Albuquerque proudly for more than 30 years. Our new store will have the same excellent customer service and our newest amenities.”
In addition to Albuquerque, Love’s fast-fill CNG locations along I-40 include West Memphis, Ark.; Webbers Falls, Okla.; two locations in Oklahoma City, Okla.; and Amarillo, Texas. The existing Love’s Travel Stop in Williams, Ariz., will begin offering CNG later this year, expanding Love’s network of CNG locations along I-40 to seven.
