Landi Renzo USA says it has achieved U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification for its bi-fuel compressed natural gas (CNG) systems on model-year 2015 Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks with the 6.2-liter engine.
The company says the certificate of conformity covers natural gas conversions on both two- and four-wheel-drive Super Duty trucks in multiple cab configurations. Landi Renzo handles the installations as a part of Ford Motor Co.'s Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) program, which enables fleets to order CNG-powered vehicles through standard sales channels while maintaining the OEM warranty.
Landi Renzo also offers alternative fuel systems for various GM and Isuzu platforms through ship-thru processes.
