Johnson Electric, a manufacturer of motion systems and components for automotive applications, has released a new cooling fan product line – the CFM EV – for hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs).
The CFM EV, which is a part of Johnson Electric's GATE brand, is designed to have ‘extremely long life to continuously manage battery temperature during the operating and recharge cycles of plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles,’ the company says. The product line provides variable airflow performance ranging from 30 to 70 liters per second with air pressure up to 600 Pa.
Johnson Electric notes that the CFM EV interface and diagnostics can be customized for any vehicle platform.
