Hino Trucks has partnered with Telogis to release upgrades to the Hino INSIGHT platform – the company's web-based location and telematics solution for the medium-duty commercial truck market.
Hino INSIGHT 2.0 powered by Telogis is designed to provide fleet customers with improved total cost of ownership, better vehicle uptime and enhanced user experiences. The tool will be standard on model-year 2015 Hino 195h and 195h-DC hybrid models, and as an option on the 195 and 195-DC models and the full conventional truck product lineup.
The new product and service suite will provide Hino customers with access to Telogis' location intelligence platform, which includes solutions for route optimization, real-time work order management, truck-specific navigation, telematics and mobile integration services. Hino INSIGHT 2.0 offers a unique dashboard that is specifically designed for fleet managers to gain a daily snapshot of their fleets' critical diagnostics status and performance against established targets. Also, fleet managers can simultaneously access key metrics and real-time vehicle and driver-related information with the tool.
