Hexagon Lincoln, a subsidiary of Hexagon Composites, has inked orders totaling approximately $5 million for its new TUFFSHELL high-pressure composite compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel tanks.
These 26-inch Type 4 cylinders will be integrated into Class 8 natural gas vehicles in heavy-duty applications.
‘Due to its large storage capacity and flexible packaging, the new 26-inch TUFFSHELL fuel tank is well-suited for the increased range requirements of Class 8 truck fleets,’ says Chet Dawes, Hexagon Lincoln's director of sales for North America.
