EcoDual Inc., a provider of dual-fuel natural gas systems for heavy-duty, Class 8 trucks, has released the new version of its flagship MAX/SR platform and a new two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
The company says MAX/SR 2.0 increases the natural gas substitution rate to achieve a 16% improvement across the full range of driving conditions, as well as precisely controls natural gas and diesel fuel injection to optimize combustion and minimize emissions. New electrical and controls systems have also been integrated into the MAX/SR architecture to improve overall performance and durability, and a new tank-mounting design reduces installation time and truck weight.

The MAX/SR can be used in compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) applications, and the system is currently available for 2004-2009 Cummins ISX 15-liter engines to either convert existing trucks or install on gliders.
