ClipperCreek has introduced its LCS-20 Level 2, 240 V electric vehicle (EV) charging station – the first ‘major-brand Level 2 electric vehicle charging station to break through the $400 barrier,’ the company says.

Being offered at $395, the 3.6 kW LCS-20 charges EVs at 15A and 240 V. The product comes standard with 22 feet of charging cable and a three-year manufacturer's warranty, as well as a flexible conduit that can be wired into an existing junction box for simple installation.

‘After an in-depth analysis, the ClipperCreek team realized a 3.6 kW station could be offered without compromising quality or durability through a combination of volume pricing, slightly shorter cable and 15 A charge rate,’ says Jason France, president and founder of ClipperCreek.

The new charger is available for immediate delivery, the company says. Click here for more information.
