CARB OKs Greenkraft Compressed Natural Gas Conversion System For GM Six-Liter

Greenkraft Inc. says the California Air Resources Board (CARB) has certified the company's compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel systems used in General Motors' 6.0 L, eight-cylinder engines for vehicles with a GVRW of 14,000 lbs. or higher.

‘The CARB certification is especially important because several states have either adopted or are in the process of adopting California's emissions standards,’ says Frank Ziegler, Greenkraft's director of sales.

Greenkraft says it is also working on a full line of cab-forward trucks for the U.S. market that are dedicated-CNG and range from 14,000 lbs. to 33,000 lbs. GVRW.
