Blossman Services Inc. (BSI), the equipment distributor for Alliance AutoGas, has been named the sole North American distributor of Staubli's UL-certified GPV14 LPG nozzle for propane autogas refueling applications.
Features of the Staubli nozzle include quick auto-connect; 80% faster fueling compared to natural gas and diesel; auto shutoff at 80% capacity; and an auto-disconnect that stops the flow of propane in the case of a drive-off. No gloves or protective eyewear are required when using the nozzle.
‘It's a huge difference in what it looks like, sounds like and feels like to the user,’ says Tucker Perkins, chief business development officer at the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC). ‘No gas comes from the nozzle unless it's connected, and when you release the nozzle handle, another feature becomes evident: a fugitive emissions reduction of almost 80 percent.’
