BAF, a Ford Motor Co. Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) and unit of Clean Energy Fuels, has received certifications from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for its model-year 2013 natural gas vehicles.

The company's 2013 approvals for dedicated compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles include the F-250/350; F-450/550/650; F-59; E-250/350; E-450/550; and Transit Connect (EPA approval, CARB pending). BAF also has EPA approval for its bi-fuel CNG F-250/350, E-250/350 and Transit Connect.

‘No other company – including the OEMs – produces a deeper CNG product line than BAF,’ says John R. Bacon, president. ‘Not only do we have more vehicle platforms than anyone else, we also offer more choices and customizations within each platform.’

BAF also offers the industry's first Ford F-250/350 pickup truck with an underbody tank package (dedicated CNG; EPA- and CARB-certified), which allows owners use of the full truck bed.

All of BAF's 2013 models are available for order now through June, depending on the vehicle platform.
