ASCO Numatics, a unit of Emerson that focuses on automation technologies for fuel dispensing, has introduced the ASCO 291 series of high-pressure solenoid valves for compressed natural gas (CNG) applications.
The product, which is new in the North American market, can withstand pressures exceeding 5,000 psi while providing excellent flow rates and using only 12 W of power. The 291 valves are offered in three pipe sizes – 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch and 1 inch – and in three-station and six-station manifold versions.
