Altech-Eco Corp. says it has received certificates of conformity from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for both its dedicated and bi-fuel compressed natural gas (CNG) conversion systems for the 2013 Ford 6.2 L engine in the F-250 and F-350 pickups.

‘Every energy company, utility company and commercial fleet in America can benefit from our new and improved conversion systems,’ says Miles George, vice president of Altech-Eco. ‘We are proud to have received the EPA certification for the best pickup trucks in the world.’

Altech-Eco, a Ford Motor Co. Qualified Vehicle Modifier, says its systems are designed in collaboration with a Ford Qualified Calibration Modifier (QCM) for ‘real-fleet applications.’ The company already has EPA certification for the 2013 Ford Transit Connect 2.0 L as a bi-fuel or dedicated CNG conversion.
