Winnebago Industries Inc. is introducing bi-fuel and dedicated propane autogas options for its full lineup of Metro Link buses – the company's mid-size transit and shuttle bus platform.
ICOM North America, a Michigan-based manufacturer of autogas vehicle system technologies, is Winnebago's main partner in propane vehicle development. In addition to providing propane systems for new Metro Link fleet orders, Winnebago, ICOM and Winnebago distributor Metro Worldwide will also accommodate propane conversions on existing bus fleets.
Metro Worldwide, which can be reached at (855) 923-2855, will handle sales, service, installation and warranty services for propane-powered Metro Link buses.
