Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide Inc. has delivered pre-production compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel storage and delivery systems to ZHRO Solutions LLC as a part of a relationship that the companies formed last spring.
Quantum's Q-Lite CNG tanks, fuel-delivery components and engine/fuel system control software will be integrated with ZHRO's natural gas injection/engine conversion system to build a test fleet for bench and on-road testing. The companies' development agreement is focused largely on aftermarket medium- and heavy-duty truck applications.

Quantum notes that production systems are planned to be delivered to ZHRO in the second half of 2014.
