XL Hybrids Inc., a company specializing in hybrid-electric powertrains for Class 1 to 3 commercial fleets, has appointed Edward Lovelace chief technology officer. He has been a member of the company's technical advisory board for two years.
Lovelace was formerly chief technology officer and executive vice president of engineering at Free Flow Power, a renewable generation project development company focused on hydropower. He has also been director of engineering development at Satcon Technology Corp. and spent six years with the General Electric.
‘Ed was a tremendous resource for XL Hybrids as a technical advisor, and his full-time leadership role as CTO is a force multiplier for our team,’ says Tod Hynes, president and founder of XL Hybrids.
