Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide Inc. says it has received a follow-on purchase order from Westport Innovations for its Q-LITE compressed natural gas (CNG) tanks.
Westport, a Canada-based natural gas engine specialist, will use the storage tanks for both its existing and newly introduced platforms. Quantum's Q-LITE advanced fuel storage tanks and systems maximize a vehicle's range – allowing for reduced weight, as well as increased natural gas capacity and performance.
