Westport Parts + Service – a new division of Westport Innovations – officially launched last week at Automechanika Chicago, a trade show and training event for the automotive aftermarket industry.
Westport Parts + Service announced the opportunity for distributors to join it and key partners in delivering accessible original engine (OE) quality parts and service to the growing North American natural gas vehicle (NGV) market.
Supported by Westport's global parts organization, the division specializes in OE quality parts for the on-highway light-, medium- and heavy-duty natural gas truck market, as well as the off-highway NGV market.
The division also provides a network of certified natural gas facilities to install, service and repair NGVs with customer support, including technical training and 24/7 hotlines.
