U.S. Gain has partnered with Questar Fueling Co., a subsidiary of Utah-based Questar Corp., to add the GAIN Clean Fuel compressed natural gas (CNG) brand to an existing Questar Fueling CNG station in Kansas City, Kan.
Questar Fueling opened the public-access station, located at 6580 Kansas Ave., last year. The facility offers six high-speed fueling lanes for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. U.S. Gain says the Kansas City station will now be co-branded and provide CNG fueling to each partner's fleet customers.
“Partnering with U.S. Gain is a win-win-win,” says Carl Galbraith, Questar Fueling's general manager. “GAIN Clean Fuel adds another CNG station to its fueling network; more volumes through the dispensers improve the station's efficiency; and both companies are able to pass along the savings to customers through lower prices.”
“Questar Fueling has built an excellent reputation as a quality CNG provider in the region,” comments Bill Renz, general manager of U.S. Gain. “We're excited to be partnering with them to expand GAIN Clean Fuel's network. The addition of this location brings us one step closer to providing CNG along every major transportation corridor in the country.”
