Upfitter Takes Delivery of TruStar Energy PFS for CNG Fueling

0

TruStar Energy says it has delivered a Portable Fuel System (PFS) unit – a small-scale compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling platform – to an unnamed vehicle upfitter based in northern Texas.

The company says this customer is deploying the PFS in order to fuel the natural gas vehicles that it converts at its facility, as well as to serve as a fueling stop for local NGV fleets. The skid-mounted unit, which features a backup compressor to ensure redundancy, produces 66 DGE of CNG per hour.

‘This fueling solution is another great example of flexibility that the PFS provides our customers,’ says Scott Edelbach, vice president of TruStar Energy. ‘No two operations are the same, and the PFS is perfect for this application and is sized appropriately for their fuel need.’

The PFS is also available in a three-compressor configuration that yields up to 100 DGE of CNG per hour.
