TruStar Energy Now on the Scene Developing CNG Refueling Assets

0

Fortistar and affiliate company TruStar Energy LLC have acquired a majority interest in Vocational Energy, a firm that is focused on developing compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling infrastructure.

‘We are very excited about joining with Vocational Energy, the best construction and technical team in the industry,’ says Mark Comora, president of Fortistar. ‘Together as TruStar Energy, our mission is to set a new standard of excellence in the industry.’

The new entity will assume the current CNG station development pipeline of Vocational Energy and maintain Vocational's existing management team. TruStar Energy will also offer long-term fuel-supply agreements to fleets, as well as have the ability to draw from Fortistar's supply of renewable landfill gas.

‘By applying our core business principles and teaming up with Fortistar, we are now able to significantly expand our market reach and better serve our customers,’ comments Scott Edelbach, president of Vocational Energy/vice president of marketing for TruStar Energy.
