Trillium CNG’s Fifth Station in Wisconsin Is Up and Running

Trillium CNG, a developer of compressed natural gas refueling infrastructure, has opened its fifth public CNG station in Wisconsin, located at Fabel Repair & Collision Center in Appleton.

This fast-fill public-access facility, whose address is 1905 Prospect Court, is about one mile from U.S. 41, which connects to Green Bay/I-43 to the northeast and Milwaukee to the southeast. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is designed to accommodate natural gas vehicles of all sizes – including Class 8 trucks.

Trillium CNG notes that Paper Transport Inc., a regional carrier that is converting dozens of its tractors to run on natural gas, will serve as the new station's anchor fleet. ‘We are excited to see the continued development of the CNG station network,’ says Jeff Shefchik, president of Paper Transport.

Elsewhere in Wisconsin, Trillium CNG also operates natural gas refueling facilities in De Pere, Sturtevant, Wausau and Green Bay.
