Trillium CNG Working on Second CNG Station in Tampa

The Radiant Group LLC has selected Integrys Energy Group Inc. business unit Trillium CNG to build a compressed natural gas (CNG) station at Radiant's GasKwick facility in Tampa, Fla.

Located at 2605 N. 50th St., the CNG station at GasKwick will have two dispensers and will fuel vehicles at a rate of eight to 10 gallons per minute. Its proximity to the Port of Tampa, I-4 and the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway will support CNG fueling for heavy-duty trucking in the area and will be open to the general public 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Construction of the new CNG station is expected to begin early in 2014, with completion targeted for the second quarter of 2014.

Trillium is currently constructing another CNG station in Tampa, at 4614 S. 50th St., for heavy-duty carrier Dillon Transport. That station is expected to open next month.
