A subsidiary of Taylor-Wharton International LLC has established a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) business unit that will specialize in manufacturing and supplying cryogenic equipment for LNG bulk storage, transport and end-user applications.

‘We are currently focused on building the finest LNG management team possible,’ says David Barr, who will lead the new Taylor-Wharton Cryogenics LNG business as vice president and general manager. ‘This effort, along with regional strategic partnerships, will bring the complete LNG solution package of supply, installation, training and service to the end user.’

From 1998 to 2003, Barr worked with Minnesota Valley Engineering/Chart Industries as the founder and president of NexGen Fueling. Most recently, he developed the first LNG distribution business in Minnesota for Lubrication Technologies Inc.

Joining Carr in the LNG business unit are Claus Emmer, Bobby Cushman, James Turvey and Evan Lancaster.
