U.S. Oil has opened a GAIN Clean Fuel public-access compressed natural gas (CNG) facility at Middleton Farmers Cooperative's location in Middleton, Wis., mainly to serve UW Provision Co.'s growing fleet of natural gas vehicles.

Middleton Farmers Cooperative provided the site for the station, and UW Provision committed to converting up to eight of its fleet of 20 straight trucks to run on CNG. In turn, U.S. Oil built the GAIN station and will supply UW Provision's fleet with fuel through a 10-year agreement.

U.S. Oil anticipates that the new Middleton station will supply approximately 400,000 DGE of CNG in its first year of operation.

UW Provision delivers meat and specialized food products across the Midwest.
