Southern California Gas Co. (SoCalGas) has opened its newest company-branded compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling station – a public-access facility at 44416 Division St. in Lancaster, Calif., in Los Angeles County.
This fast-fill station features one dual-hose CNG dispenser under a canopy. The facility, which is open 24/7, is selling CNG for about $2.00/GGE.
‘We are pleased to offer refueling services under the trusted Southern California Gas brand to anyone who wants to take advantage of the economic and environmental benefits of natural gas,’ says Rodger Schwecke, vice president of customer solutions for SoCalGas.
The company currently operates 19 CNG refueling stations to serve its own fleet of more than 1,000 natural gas vehicles. Eleven of those stations are open to the public.
