Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide Inc. says it has received a new purchase contract for compressed natural gas (CNG) storage tanks from a U.S.-based natural gas vehicle integrator specializing in light-duty fleet and commercial vehicles. sexlviv.com/tr/.
As part of this contract, Quantum will supply 100 of its high-capacity, ultra-lightweight carbon composite on-board fuel storage tanks. Quantum says the products enable trucks and buses to carry significantly more fuel on board and operate for long distances without compromising their payload/passenger capacity or driving characteristics.
