Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide Inc. says it has received orders from Time Transport Inc. for its Q-CabLITE and Q-RailLITE compressed natural gas (CNG) storage modules.
Time Transport, a same-day freight transportation company based in Racine, Wis., is a new customer for Quantum and ordered a combined total of approximately $700,000 in modules.
Quantum's Q-CabLITE and Q-RailLITE CNG storage modules are integrated CNG fuel systems for heavy-duty truck applications.
The Q-CabLITE product line is installed behind the cab, allowing for a larger capacity of CNG, and the Q-RailLITE product line is installed on the traditional open rail-space of the truck. Both modules also contain Quantum's Q-Lite CNG storage cylinder, which minimizes weight and increases fuel capacity.
