Superior Plus Energy Services, headquartered in Rochester, N.Y., the 13th largest propane marketer in the U.S., has become the newest member of Alliance AutoGas.
Superior Plus Energy has served residential, agricultural, commercial, industrial, transportation and government customers in 5,000 ZIP codes in nine states in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions since 1922. Employing 1,000 individuals, it is one of the largest fuel marketers in the U.S.
“We are excited to be a partner of an organization that delivers tangible value to their customers financially, but also environmentally,” says Trent Nagata, senior director of commercial sales development at Superior Plus Energy Services. “Alliance Autogas offers win-win solutions to their customers that increase options for operating their fleets at a lower price point along with helping those same customers go clean and green.”
Public and private fleets converted to propane autogas will reduce emissions and fuel costs simultaneously, all while using a domestic-made fuel. In 2015 alone, the 120 Alliance AutoGas members collectively displaced 45 million gallons of gasoline and produced $54 million in fuel cost savings for the 460 fleets they service.
