The RoadRunner Fuels convenience store and gasoline/diesel refueling stop will soon be providing propane autogas at its location in Aztec, N.M., in the northwest part of the state.
The new autogas fueling island, located at 800 South Main St., is backed up with a 35,000-gallon propane tank. A few propane vehicles already fill up at RoadRunner, and company owner Jason Sandel told The Daily Times (Farmington, N.M.) that he is hoping to attract more fleets.
Sandel is also vice president of local firm Aztec Well Service, which is planning to convert some of its fleet vehicles to autogas.
