Phoenix Energy Corp., a company that focuses on alternative fuel vehicle conversions and related services for fleet customers, has joined Alliance AutoGas to serve in the group's network of propane-vehicle conversion specialists.
‘Propane offers the end user a means of entering the alternative fuel use market with low initial conversion and infrastructure costs,’ says Ken Hyde, president of Phoenix Energy. ‘As the need for alternative vehicular fuels increases in the U.S., Phoenix and the Alliance team is poised to meet this demand with quality, safety and overall fuel cost reduction.’
Phoenix Energy is based in Pell City, Ala., and concentrates its business on serving fleets in the Southeast. As an installation partner with Alliance AutoGas, the company will be using bi-fuel propane autogas technology from Prins.
In addition to coordinating propane vehicle conversions, Alliance AutoGas installs propane refueling infrastructure, offers alt-fuel vehicle maintenance services and provides fleet training.
