PA-Based Fleet Signs On for Ryder Flex-to-Green Lease Program

Ryder System Inc. has secured Pennsylvania Macaroni Company Inc. as its latest fleet customer to opt for Ryder's Flex-to-Green lease program.

Through the program, Pennsylvania Macaroni will lease 10 diesel-powered refrigerated straight trucks, with an option to convert those vehicles to natural gas after one year. The lease agreement gives the fleet all of the maintenance and service benefits of a standard Ryder lease.

‘With the Flex-to-Green lease, we now have [the] flexibility to convert our fleet to natural gas, so our customers will be able to receive their grocery deliveries on more efficient vehicles that produce fewer greenhouse gas emissions,’ says Rob Sunseri, chief financial officer and co-owner of Pennsylvania Macaroni.

Today, Pennsylvania Macaroni operates eight Ryder lease and six company-owned vehicles. The firm has worked with Ryder for the last 12 years.
