The Natural Gas Vehicle Institute (NGVi) has added a pair of new training courses to its ongoing curriculum: NGV Maintenance and Diagnostics Training: Heavy-Duty Vehicles and NGV Maintenance and Diagnostics Training: Light-Duty Vehicles.
These offerings are designed for technicians who have basic skills in vehicle repair and are interested in information about performing maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on natural gas vehicles (NGVs). The courses cover operational theory with hands-on exercises; the use of digital multimeters, scan tools and other diagnostic equipment; and National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) H1 and F1 exam preparation.
The first NGV Maintenance and Diagnostics Training: Heavy-Duty Vehicles class will be held in Dallas on Oct. 29-31. NGV Maintenance and Diagnostics Training: Light-Duty Vehicles runs Feb. 25-27, 2014, in Las Vegas.
