Clean Energy Fuels Corp. has debuted the NGV Easy Bay – a separation and vapor-containment system designed specifically for natural gas vehicle (NGV) maintenance and storage facilities.
The company says the new code-compliant offering is a scalable product that can accommodate single-bay projects or serve as a barrier to divide a large maintenance building. It is retractable to ensure convenient storage, as well as mobile, so fleets can expand existing NGV service areas or move the NGV Easy Bay to another building.
Clean Energy notes that its facilities modification specialists handle the turnkey design and installation of the product.
‘With NGV Easy Bay, customers now have an unprecedented and cost-effective option available to adapt their facility for NGVs,’ says Tim Newman, general manager of Clean Energy's facility modification group.
NGV Easy Bay uses industrial fabrics that meet ASTM standards for exposure to both compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG), the company adds.
