American Business Conferences says it is presenting the Natural Gas Fleet Vehicles North American Congress on October 23-24 at the Renaissance Houston Greenway Plaza Hotel in Houston.
Central to the conference are panel discussions and educational sessions that address the opportunities and challenges associated with fleets' adoption of natural gas vehicles (NGVs). Experts will look at issues such as natural gas refueling infrastructure development, NGV technologies, NGV costs-benefits, fleet operations and maintenance, and other key topics.
The first day of the event will begin with ‘strategic insight from early technology adopters, as well as fleet operators considering natural gas introduction,’ the company says. The agenda will also examine the pros and cons of LNG and CNG; NGV performance; conversion technology; fuel economy; and maintenance. Day two will concentrate on infrastructure and strategic business considerations, such as incentives, regulations and revenue-generation.
Among the experts presenting information at the event are Eric Woods, vice president of fleet and logistics at Waste Management; Mike DelBovo, president of Saddle Creek Transportation; Fortunato Gulino, senior fleet engineer with Consolidated Edison New York; Chris Trajkovski, national fleet sustainability senior manager of Frito-Lay; and Kenneth Jack, Verizon's vice president of fleet operations.
