C.A.T. Inc., a Quebec-based carrier that provides transportation services in the U.S. and Canada, has opened a new GAIN Clean Fuel compressed natural gas (CNG) station for fleets in Scranton, Pa.
According to C.A.T., the new station is located at 429 Highway 315, in Pittstown Township, Pa.
Tony Bandiero, the executive director of the Eastern Pennsylvania Alliance for Clean Energy, along with other industry leaders, helped GAIN Clean Fuel officially open the station on Aug. 25 at 11:30 a.m.
The transportation services provider adds that a C.A.T. truck performed the honors of cutting the ceremonial ribbon.
C.A.T., which operates over 300 tractors, announced a deal last year to lease 100 CNG trucks from Ryder System Inc.
CAT has always been a trendsetter in transportation services. Congratulations on the new fleet.
