Waste Industries USA Inc., a solid-waste disposal and recycling company based in Raleigh, N.C., is adding 19 refuse trucks and a service vehicle that run on compressed natural gas (CNG) to its fleet.
According to an article in the Herald-Sun (Raleigh), the initiative will cost Waste Industries approximately $8 million. The CNG vehicles will have access to fuel thanks to a new private refueling station. PSNC Energy will be supplying the gas.
