Westport Innovations Inc. is putting millions of its common shares into the U.S. and Canadian trading markets, with Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Jefferies & Co. Inc. as the joint book-runners.
According to Jefferies, Westport will offer 5.5 million common shares at a price of $43.25 per share, which will raise more than $237 million.
The common shares issued under this offering will be listed on the NASDAQ Global Market, and Westport has also applied to list shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The offering is expected to close by next week.
