The city of Columbia, Mo., has wrapped up its work with Clean Energy Fuels Corp. to develop the city's first compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling station.
Located at 1900 Lake Ridgeway Dr., the fast-fill facility features one dispenser for public use, along with two dispensers for natural gas vehicles within Columbia's municipal fleet. The city has already taken delivery of several CNG-powered vehicles that will be in service in various departments, including public works, water and light, and parks and recreation.
Columbia is located in mid-Missouri, at the junction of Interstate 70 and U.S. Highway 63. This is the first CNG station in this part of the state.
