Mansfield Clean Energy Completes First CNG Station

Mansfield Clean Energy Partners (MCEP) has opened a new compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling station in Doraville, Ga. – the first facility to become operational under the Mansfield Energy Corp./Clean Energy Fuels Corp. joint venture company.

Located at 2765 Woodwin Rd. in Doraville, the card-lock station will fuel Mansfield's fleet of 12 heavy-duty natural gas trucks, as well as NGVs from other area fleets. The station ‘will showcase the potential natural gas fuel brings to the significant bulk-fuel-hauling market segment,’ according to MCEP.

‘Mansfield has shown industry leadership yet again with the deployment of its first CNG trucks,’ says Andrew J. Littlefair, president and CEO of Clean Energy. ‘As the anchor tenant of the first MCEP station, this growing fleet will be a rolling case study for other bulk fuel haulers contemplating the transition to cleaner-burning and less-expensive natural gas fuel.’
