Love’s Fattens Texas Compressed Natural Gas Fueling Network

Love's Travel Stops continues to expand its natural gas fueling footprint, with the opening this week of compressed natural gas (CNG) capacity at the company's site in Dallas – the first CNG station that Love's has built in the city.

The facility – located at 8800 S. Polk St. off heavily traveled I-35/I-20 – features in-lane CNG dispenser designed to accommodate big rigs and other Class 8 trucks, as well as light- and medium-duty natural gas vehicles. The fast-fill pumps offer a fill rate of more than 10 gallons (equivalent) per minute.

Love's now has five CNG locations in Texas: the new site in Dallas, along with spots in Willis (I-45, exit 95), Houston (610 loop, exit 24A), Ft. Worth (I-35 W, exit 40) and Katy (I-10, exit 737). In Texas alone, the company has four more CNG stations already in the works, in Rockwall (I-30, exit 283), San Antonio (I-35, exit 144), Seguin (I-10, exit 604) and Amarillo (I-40, exit 74).
