Love's Travel Stops says it will be adding compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling capabilities for both heavy-duty trucks and light-duty vehicles at its existing travel stops in Webbers Falls and Ardmore, Okla.
The company already offers fast-fill CNG at a site in Oklahoma City (with another in that city currently under development), as well as in three Texas locations: Willis, Dallas and Houston.
‘Ardmore will provide additional coverage for fleets that use the popular I-35 route between Oklahoma City and Dallas/Fort Worth,’ says Bill Cashmareck, general manager of natural gas at Love's. ‘Webbers Falls will add another stop to our locations along I-40 that currently have or will soon be equipped with Love's fast-fill CNG.’
The Ardmore location will be the second Love's with fast-fill CNG for heavy-duty trucks on I-35, and the Webbers Falls location will be the sixth Love's on I-40 to receive fast-fill CNG. The company's fast-fill infrastructure enables a fill rate of more than 10 GGE of CNG per minute.
The Ardmore and Webbers Falls travel stops are expected to be dispensing CNG to the public by the spring of 2015. Love's is also working on several additional CNG sites in Texas, as well as locations in Ohio, Arizona and New Mexico.
