Love's Travel Stops has added fast-fill compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling capacity to its service center in Burbank, Ohio, located at exit 204 on Interstate 71. This station is Love's 10th to feature CNG, and the first such Love's facility in Ohio.
‘Burbank is an ideal location for us to introduce CNG in Ohio because a high volume of professional drivers and motorists can take advantage of the cost savings,’ says Bill Cashmareck, general manager of natural gas at Love's.
Interstate 71 is a major north-south route running from Cleveland to Columbus and Cincinnati, and on to Louisville, Ky.
Love's notes that Illinois-based Dillon Transport will be the anchor fleet at the Burbank location. The company, which operates more than 400 trucks nationwide, will be dedicating an initial 20 CNG-powered trucks to the Burbank area.
The retail price of CNG at the Burbank Love's location is $1.99/GGE.
